Dr. Sondra Kiser has served as Principal of Ramer Elementary School since May of 2015. Dr. Kiser is a former student of Ramer School, a graduate of McNairy Central High School, and a graduate of Union University. She taught kindergarten at Ramer Elementary from August 2003 - June 2009. From June 2009 - June 2012, she was the math interventionist at Ramer Elementary and also taught writing for grades 6-8. In July 2012, Dr. Kiser was Assistant Principal at Selmer Elementary where she remained until June 2014. From June 2014 - May 2015, she worked as Assistant Principal at Bethel Springs Elementary School. Being able to return to Ramer School as a school administrator was a dream come true for Dr. Kiser. Ramer is and will forever be "home"!
Dr. Kiser has three sons, each representing the fourth generation of the family to attend Ramer School - James Phillip Kiser, John Clint Kiser, and Luke Jackson Kiser. She is also the wife of the late Phillip Todd Kiser of Bethel Springs, TN and the daughter of Billy Wayne and the late Drithia Annette Jackson of Ramer, TN.
When asked what she loves most about her job, Dr. Kiser states, "I love Ramer School! I am here each day because I love the students and the faculty and staff. The teachers at Ramer School are the best of the best and I am honored to work alongside them each day!"
