Nondiscrimination Policy

The McNairy County School District (District) does not tolerate harassment on the basis of disability. Any student who believes that he or she has been subjected to harassment on the basis of disability is encouraged to report harassment to the District. The District is committed to take immediate action to eliminate the harassment, prevent its recurrence, and address its effects. Mrs. Jennifer Hunt, Special Education Director, ( 491 High School Road, Selmer, TN 38375, 731-645-6010), has been designated by the District to receive complaints on the basis of disability. Students and employees found to have engaged in acts of harassment on the basis of disability are warned they will be promptly disciplined and such discipline may include, if circumstances warrant, suspension or expulsion for students or suspension or termination for employees. Students, parents, and School staff are encouraged to work together to prevent harassment on the basis of disability. ​
